I was surfing the net today and found this posted about me at another blog, i was shocked:

Brian Rodgers is a Big Name in real estate Marketing..

Because Brian Rodgers is a Moderator on the AgentsOnline.net forum that I was on, I mentioned Brian Rodgers on this site and one of Brian’s Friends emailed him and told him. After this Brian Rodgers emailed me and set me straight on a few facts about the forum and he also Said this:

“I could care less if you post my name on your blog, you aren’t going to bring my name to the top of Google as I actually know what i am doing as well.”

So I am up for the Challenge, I call it the Brian Rodgers Challenge. It is always good to test ones skills and I consider myself a Search Engine Reputation Manager at this point so I am up for the Challenge.
I just heard about Brian Rodgers tonight when he emailed me and did not in any way know Brian Rodgers before this “site moderator” thing came up.

Brian Rodgers is on Facebook. Brian Rodgers is on mySpace. Brian Rodgers has poker profiles, and Brian does press releases, articles and puts documents everywhere to ensure that Brian Rodgers gets found on the Internet.

Brian Rodgers is all over the internet and he is bound and determined to make sure that you easily find Brian Rodgers. Brian Rodgers is on all kinds of forums, discussions, you name it Brian Rodgers is there. Brian Rodgers manages his reputation online very well and Brian even has a real estate marketing cruise to teach other to market real estate as well as Brian Rodgers does.

Brian Rodgers teaches Seminars and Brian Rodgers has his own Marketing Systems. Brian Rodgers is good at what he does and he is VERY proud of his real estate marketing skills.

Brian Rodgers, the Real Estate Marketing Guru has challenged me to get “on top of google” for “Brian Rodgers”.

So I may fail the Brian Rodgers Challenge but I am going to Give it a go.

I mean Really, how can one resist such a bold thing as a Brian Rodgers Challenge ?

Brian Rodgers seems to think he is leagues ahead of most Real Estate Professionals in the game of real estate marketing online. And well it seems that Brian Rodgers may possibly be, he certainly is everywhere for his own name. But can Brian Rodgers get your search engine needs met? Early 2009 marks a slower start for Lethbridge Real Estate with fewer sales occurring year to date than 2008. BUT, is that necessarily a bad thing? No it’s not, here’s why:

Last year there were approximately 40 more homes sold in Lethbridge by this time but with an average single family Lethbridge home price of only 4% more than this year. Despite the news we hear, Lethbridge real estate is fairing quite well in this global economic downturn. Other cities and other provinces are experiencing much more significant decreases than ours and I am happy to say we have remained relatively stable, just as we did when housing prices in Lethbridge were taking off back in 2007.

It is important during times like this to consider where our media comes from. For example, our Provincial media comes from Calgary, a city that has experienced decreases in property values as much as 20%. Our National media comes from Ontario, a province that has experienced the greatest economic decline of any place in Canada. We are being bombarded with information that simply isn’t relevant to our local Lethbridge real estate market and we have to be cautious how we relate that information to our local market.

As a matter of fact, my team is busier than ever with a number of new initiatives that we anticipate will help us break our record of 129 Lethbridge homes sold last year! That’s right, even with the market downturn. We continue to update and modify the way we do business so that we can better serve the real estate needs of our Lethbridge real estate clients. Through increased market share and increased efficiency we hope to make this year the best year for Lethbridge real estate clients yet!

As an example, we are enlisting the help of a second Administrative Assistant to help us better manage the expectations and needs of our Lethbridge real estate clients. Our team will now feature two Seller Specialists, One Buyer Specialist, one Office Manager, and one Administrative Assistant. East Tucson AZ Real Estate – Buyer’s Opportunity of a Lifetime

The East Tucson AZ Real Estate market has certainly seen better times. Because of the current condition of our economy, there are, of course many homeowners struggling just to stay above water. However, one of my mentors once told me something and it made a lot of sense to me. He said, “In Every Adversity Lies a Seed of Equal or Greater Benefit”. Well, I took that to heart. And what I see in the East Tucson AZ Real Estate market is a huge number of available properties at very discounted prices. Now to me that signals a buying opportunity, especially when I consider the fact that when I compare the prices that these properties are selling for, I have to go back to the early 2000’s.

Also, when you consider current interest rates being at all time lows, you’re probably not going to see another opportunity like this with money being this cheap in quite some time (if you ever do). The new legislation targeted towards first-time home owners is another incentive to motivate potential home buyers to get off the fence. Basically, our government is providing up to an $8000.00 incentive to purchase their American Dream.

Also, according to the National Association of Home Builders, in addition to the tax credit, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 has several other provisions that will benefit home buyers and the housing market. The legislation will also:

a) Allow state housing finance agencies to help buyers at closing by advancing the credit as a loan using proceeds from tax-exempt bonds.

b) Will help home buyers in high-cost markets by extending the FHA, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac loan limit of $729,750 through the end of 2009.

So, as I have coined in one of my recent blog posts, in my humble opinion, “we’re in the midst of “The Perfect Storm” for buying East Tucson AZ Real Estate.

Hey Everyone,

There has been a lot of discussion lately about targeting certain keywords, etc. for search engine purposes.

Although there are many ways to go about it, i just wanted to jot down some thoughts here While it is fresh in my mind.

For example, if you are a real estate in Atlanta, it is not worth the effort to try to rank for the word Atlanta real estate. Why? The majority of the people searching for that phrase do not live near Atlanta, actual Atlanta, and are irrelevant prospects. What you would want to rank for, if you were an Atlanta real estate agent are words that further target exactly what your prospects are looking for, this would be things like

Roswell GA real estate
Buckhead real estate
etc.

Even within a niche like these, there are more specific types of niches that your prospects search for, like types of properties in these geographical areas for example. If you offer these types of properties or want to attract these types of prospects you would want to rank for keywords like

Roswell GA foreclosure, REO’s, acreage, owner financing, etc.
Buckhead Mansions, estates, luxury condos, etc.

It is very important to have an understanding of exactly who and what you are targeting with everything you do both online as well as offline.
